TUI Cruises sales blitz hones in on Mein Schiff Herz

TUI Cruises announced this year's sales blitz will focus on promoting Mein Schiff Herz (currently Mein Schiff 2).

Sales calls to agents in six countries

As in previous years, the line's sales representatives are going to visit 800 travel agents in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands over the coming weeks, providing latest information about TUI Cruises' products along with a package of new promotion material.

In addition to these visits, another 2,700 travel agents are going to receive the promotion package by post.

The campaign spotlights the future Mein Schiff Herz ('herz' means heart in German), which will remain in TUI Cruises' fleet until 2022 but will give up its Mein Schiff 2 name to TUI's newbuild, coming next spring.

Free cruises will be awarded

Additionally, TUI Cruises launched a sales competition for agents. Each Mein Schiff Herz booked between Aug. 27 and Sept. 28 will accrue points for the respective agent. Agents with the most points will be entered into a drawing for three free seven-day cruises in a balcony cabin aboard Mein Schiff Herz in June next year.
