Norwegian port of Stavanger got a surprise call Thursday. As Fred Olsen Cruise Lines' Balmoral prepared for her scheduled afternoon departure, the company's Braemar arrived on an impulsive visit to the port.
Braemar was on a morning sail along Lysefjord passing Pulpit Rock, but chose a detour back to the port of Stavanger on the outward journey. The vessel lingered a bit by her half sister's side, before she turned and headed out to the North Sea again.Â
Both ships will return to Stavanger later this summer, Balmoral three times and Braemar once, although next time the ship has a berth booked.
