Adam Armstrong said he will look at hiking Contiki’s cruise products
In the same week it was announced that Adam Armstrong is leaving Silversea Cruises as MD Australia and New Zealand, it has been revealed he is relocating to Switzerland as global CEO for The Travel Corporation’s Contiki Holidays.

Armstrong told Seatrade Cruise News Silversea is recruiting for his replacement and he expects to leave in the first half of this year.

An Oxford graduate, he began his career with the TUI Travel Group in the UK as a product manager.

20 years in cruise industry

He has had a 20-year career in the cruise industry, including a role as Royal Caribbean’s VP and MD Australia and New Zealand.

In response to a question from Seatrade Cruise News, he agreed there may be opportunities to hike Contiki’s cruise products.

‘I will certainly be looking at that,’ he said.

He said Contiki has a well-established office in Sydney and he plans to be back frequently.
