In Denmark, a 2021-plan called 'Comeback Copenhagen' has been developed jointly by the Copenhagen Municipality, the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, and Wonderful Copenhagen since the pandemic changed our world. One of the initiatives focuses on sustainable development of cruise tourism in, not only Copenhagen, but the entire Baltic Sea region. Being strongly devoted to this plan, the Cruise Baltic hosted a conference in Malmö, Sweden under the headline 'Shore Power for Dummies' on October 25, 2021. Here, several experts were invited to discuss the benefits and possibilities of shore power with partners of the network and stakeholders of the industry as well as the related political challenges.
