In 2021, Queen Elizabeth's June-August Alaska season will be bookended by Japan itineraries
An extended season in Japan and new voyages in Iceland, the Baltics and North Cape highlight the second half of 2021 for Cunard.

Queen Victoria will offer a new 14-night Iceland itinerary, and will sail a new nine-night Baltic cruise with a maiden call at Aarhus, Denmark. Queen Elizabeth will spend more time in East Asia with five round-trip Tokyo voyages, including a maiden call at Seogwipo in Jeju Island, South Korea, followed by two Southeast Asia sailings before heading to Australia.

Queen Mary 2

Queen Mary 2 will offer more trans-Atlantic crossings, along with short breaks in Europe and Canada/New England voyages. The ship continues to operate the only regularly scheduled service between New York and Southampton, and will make 23 trans-Atlantic crossings from April through December 2021. These include sailings from Hamburg and Le Havre.

Queen Mary 2 also will sail in New England and Canada over the US July 4 holiday with an overnight in Boston, and in early October with overnights in Québec City. Other itineraries include the Norwegian Fjords, Caribbean and short break five-night voyages in Western Europe. The short breaks, stopping at destinations like in Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, St. Peter Port and Cherbourg, can be combined with a crossing.

Two Caribbean sailings round-trip from New York will visit a variety of islands. One takes place during Thanksgiving while the other covers the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria will operate in Northern Europe from May through November 2021, interspersed with a few Southern Europe voyages in late spring and during autumn, all round-trip Southampton. The ship will make a maiden call at Aarhus, and will stay overnight on various voyages in St. Petersburg, Funchal and Lisbon. Evening departures will be offered from Liverpool, Tromsø, Narvik and Funchal.

On two new 14-night Iceland cruises, one features the British Isles ports of Belfast and Liverpool, and the other visits the Scottish ports of New Haven and Invergordon.

A new nine-night Baltic itinerary with the maiden stop at Aarhus also calls at Bornholm (Denmark), St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Kiel and Gothenberg. A new 12-night North Cape voyage visits six Norwegian ports.

Other Queen Victoria itineraries include a 13-night Briitish Isles cruise, four weeklong Norwegian Fjords sailngs, two 14-night Western Mediterranean cruises and a 19-night Central Mediterranean voyage calling at Dubrovnik, Zadar and Sibenik in Croatia.

Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth’s extended Japan season adds two round-trip Tokyo sailings in the spring. The first will visit western and southern Japan ports of Kagoshima, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Busan and the maiden call at Seogwipo. The second will circumnavigate Japan with stops at Aomori, Akita, Kanazawa, Nagasaki and Busan.

After Queen Elizabeth’s June-August Alaska season (details to be released later this year), the ship will return to Japan for three Tokyo round-trips and then sail to Southeast Asia with overnights in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore. In November, the ship will visit Australia and New Zealand during an 11-night Sydney to Auckland voyage with destinations including Melbourne, Dunedin and Bay of Islands.
