Blue Lagoon Cruises, founded in Fiji in 1950 by New Zealander Capt. Trevor Withers, launched its 2020-21 brochure, effective April 1, with some new anniversary itineraries.

Repeaters targeted

Two seven-night ‘Welcome Back to Paradise’ round cruises target repeat passengers. The first is for families and departs Port Denarau, about a half-hour drive from Nadi International Airport, September 25, 2020. The second is for adults only (no children under 14) and departs November 20.

The 68-passenger Fiji Princess will visit past passengers’ favourite ports, travelling around the Mamanuca, Sacred and Yasawa Islands.

New Zealand wine

On October 26, 2020, she will make a round four-night wine-tasting cruise from Port Denarau, highlighting New Zealand’s Villa Maria wines.

Photography

On November 13, 2020, Fiji Princess operates a seven-night ‘Photography Cruise’ with daily workshops.

Enhancements for the 2020-21 programme include a stocked mini bar in each cabin on departure days that includes a bottle of French sparkling wine and local beer.

Bubbles for breakfast

The company is also offering sparkling wine with breakfast daily for those wanting to start the day in holiday mood.
