With children as young as 5 now eligible for vaccination, holiday cruises will open to more familiies
A new Holland America Line offer lets kids 5 to 17 sail free as the third and fourth guests in a stateroom.

'Now that kids ages 5 and older can receive the COVID-19 vaccine, getting out and seeing the world is on everyone’s mind,' Holland America President Gus Antorcha said.

The offer is ood for select holiday sailings and cruises through spring 2022. Holland America will have ships in the Caribbean and Mexico this winter. After the holidays, sailings continue in both regions, along with the California coast. Come spring, families also can cruise through May to Europe, Canada/New England or Alaska with the same offer.

Book by Nov. 18 for sailings through May

'Kids Cruise Free' applies to select departures through May 31. Bookings must be made by Nov. 18, 2021.

Holland America is currently committed to operating vaccinated cruises, as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (95% vaccinated crew and passengers) through Feb. 28, and children 5 and older will be eligible to sail.

Additionally, travelers must produce a negative COVID-19 test — a medically supervised PCR or antigen test — taken within two days before embarking.
