Prior to the refurb, the vessel served as a 400-seat passenger ferry
Hebridean Island Cruises’ Lord of the Highlands is ready to set sail after undergoing a major refurbishment.

The 40-passenger vessel was remodelled and renovated by Spanish naval design and architecture firm Oliver Design.

The project involved converting the 400-seat passenger ferry, designed to serve an eight-mile passage between the Turkish port of Çesme and the Greek island of Chios, into a luxury cruise ship that will travel through the lochs of the Scottish Highlands and Orkney Islands.

Itineraries

Lord of the Highlands will make its inaugural sailing next spring, when it operates a selection of five and seven-night sailings on the Caledonian Canal, Great Glen and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland between April and October, 2022.

Prices for the five-night ‘Taste of the Highlands and Caledonian Tapestry’ itineraries start at £2,390 per person.

The seven-night ‘Highland Waterways Discovery and Caledonian Canal Explorer’ cruises are priced at £3,850 per person.
