Hotel brands going to sea feature on the cover of Seatrade Cruise Review's December issue, just out.

In years past, hotel brands that looked at cruising 'saw all these barriers because they didn't understand the shipping business. Those barriers are broken now by Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons,' according to Dietmar Wertanzl, a luxury cruise veteran senior executive who's a hotelier by trade and currently president and CEO of CMI Leisure.

Besides Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons, with their different models, Aman Resorts plans a yacht in partnership with Cruise Saudi, and the cover story looks at other hotel brands that may come in.

2022's top stories, 2023's new ships previewed

Seatrade Cruise Review also recaps 2022's top stories as read on Seatrade Cruise News and previews 2023's 19 oceangoing newbuilds in an at-a-glance feature.
