Live shows to be broadcast from Costa Smeralda for Sanremo Music Festival

The cruise will include the best of Italian music, -gastronomy, -pastry and -comedy.
Costa Smeralda will host a show every night from February 7-11, broadcast live as part of the Italian Sanremo Music Festival.

It is the second consecutive year that a Costa ship has served as a ‘floating stage’ for the festival and singing contest. This year, exclusive experiences changing daily will be created for the occasion and the best of Italian music, -gastronomy, -pastry and -comedy will feature.

‘Our presence in Sanremo will be even more spectacular than last year… because we will be hosting more than just performances: there will be moments where guests can dance, sing, feel good together with others and experience emotions to remember,’ asserted Mario Zanetti, president, Costa Cruises.

Sanremo Music Festival cruise

The eight-night cruise from February 4 to 12 will be dedicated to a selection of Costa’s most successful Italian travel agents and Italian clients, and members of the line’s loyalty club, C|Club.

Those on board will have the chance to attend live broadcasts and participate in a programme that includes special guests, tastings, previews, workshops and sports courses.

Passengers will be able to go ashore in the Northwest Italian city to experience the atmosphere of Sanremo during the event, explore the city and see what the region of Liguria has to offer.
