State of the Industry Keynote plus Fit for 55
The State of the Mediterranean Cruise Industry Keynote will bring critical insight on cruising within the region, with industry challenges addressed in ‘Are you Fit for 55? – Moving Towards a Carbon-free Future’ and ‘Alternative Fuels: Alternative Options.’
Following the Steering Change Together theme, also on the agenda are the latest developments across sustainability, shoreside experiences, ports and destinations, technology, expedition cruising, luxury cruising and beyond. Changes within the region go under the microscope in ‘The Changing Geography of Med: Adapting and Improvising,’ shoreside technology will be investigated in ‘Human vs Machine – The Impact of Technology on Shoreside Experiences’ and the ‘Beyond the Poles: Expedition Workshop’ will serve as a deep dive into polar expedition travel.
Free-to-attend sessions for all attendees will be held on the Showcase Deck of the exhibition floor and involve additional interviews with cruise line executives, as well as address topics around up-and-coming destinations, health & safety, IT developments and additional interviews with cruise executives.
'CLIA Ports & Destinations Dialogue’ takes place on day one of the event. Hosted by Cruise Lines International Association directly, the invitation-only gathering is designed to create meaningful discourse on the port and destination role in the growth of the Mediterranean cruise industry. It will include roundtable discussions, presentations and concurrent sessions, alongside opportunities to network with industry leaders and influencers. Separate registration is required.
