Norwegian Cruise Line became the latest cruise operator to tally record bookings.

Nov. 25 was the best booking day in NCL history and Nov. 28 was the best booked Cyber Monday, pushing the line to a record booking week for the seven days ending Nov. 25, and to then to top this with a new weekly record last week.

'Strong momentum'

'Momentum is strong and there is no better evidence of this than our record-breaking performance this November, the best-booked month in the history of our cruise line,' NCL President/CEO Harry Sommer said. 'This achievement is even more impressive when considering November is historically one of the slower booking months for our business.

'On the heels of the successful launch of our groundbreaking Norwegian Prima, which has already received numerous accolades, we are well on our way to a banner year,' Sommer continued. 'I’m very excited about 2023 and all that is yet to come.'

NCL's record followed various others reported by Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn and Carnival Cruise Line
