New at Seatrade Cruise Global: Tomorrow’s Talent Today

Attendees can expect sessions regarding what a future in cruise could look like, ranging from on board career options in hospitality to technical careers in deck and engine, as well as shore-side.
Tomorrow’s Talent Today is a new dedicated programme, part of Seatrade Cruise Global 2023, aimed at HR, training and recruitment professionals in cruise, as well as tutors from universities, colleges and training institutes specialising in cruise-related courses and their students looking for a career onboard or shoreside.

Taking place March 30 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Centre, Tomorrow’s Talent Today is in partnership with Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global, supported by Cruise Lines International Association, Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association and the American Caribbean Maritime Foundation, and sponsored by Kadmos.

Two-streamed conference sessions

The crafted package running from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on March 30 includes tailor-made conference sessions following two streams: one focussing on identifying, discussing and overcoming some of the cruise industry’s pain points pertaining to recruitment, staff shortage, crew welfare, training and the other focussed on providing insights for tutors and students to formulate a better understanding of cruise career options. 

Attendees can expect sessions regarding what a future in cruise could look like, ranging from onboard career options in hospitality to technical careers in deck and engine, as well as shoreside.
