After terminating its Asia itineraries on coronavirus precautions, AIDA Cruises confirmed new deployment for AIDAvita and AIDAbella.

These itineraries will fill the gap until the ships’ summer programs, as earlier reported.

AIDAvita is adding two cruises from Dubai, while AIDAbella will be deployed in the western Mediterranean from Palma de Mallorca on early spring cruises.

Four-/five-day Mediterranean cruises

AIDAbella will offer four- and five-day itineraries with ports like Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome), Sète, Olbia and Ajaccio from March 10 to April 30. Cruise-only prices start at €349 per person in an inside cabin. The itineraries can be combined for a nine-day cruise.

After a short break at Palma, AIDAbella will start her 13-days repositioning voyage to Kiel on May 4. Following arrival scheduled for May 17, the ship will start North Europe operations as planned.

Currently AIDAbella is underway from Singapore to Palma. According to its AIS data, the ship is due to call Colombo (Sri Lanka) on Tuesday.

Added Dubai cruises

AIDAvita, currently en route from Singapore to Dubai, added two nine-day itineraries from Dubai on March 7 and March 16, ahead of a docking scheduled to take place at Dubai. Ports include Doha, Khalifa Bin Salman, Muscat, Khasab and Abu Dhabi. Cruise-only prices start at €479.

Following its overhaul, AIDAvita is to depart for a 19-day repositioning voyage to Palma de Mallorca on April 14.

Bookings for the new itineraries from Palma and Dubai will open Feb. 26.
