Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona unveiled five experiences that highlight the city’s finest qualities. These give an insider's view and bolster the hotel's appeal as an option for pre- and post-cruise stays.

Located in the heart of the city on Passeig de Gracia, Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona is offering travelers a curated selection of activities and excursions that allow them to explore its many treasures and embark on exclusive adventures.

Food and wine experience

Participants travel by sailboat to the Maresme region's Alta Alella wineries, located at high altitudes with spectacular views. There, an expert sommelier will guide them through the vineyards and provide tastings of various wines, followed by a wine-pairing meal prepared with local ingredients. A special section of the wine is dedicated to Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona’s private label wine, AA Cau d’en Genís Cuvée Majestic.

Race a luxury car

A tour of the city can be experienced in the driver’s seat of a luxury vehicle, be it a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Porsche, with the opportunity to race at a professional racetrack located on the outskirts of Barcelona.

Explore hidden architectural gems

A view of the city’s modernist homes can be explored on a walking tour departing from the hotel. Buildings such as the Rocamora Private Cultural Foundation and the Casa Amatller, once owned by collectors, offer an intimate insight into the city’s flair for interior art and design. The experience is rounded off with a private dinner inside one of the local residences.

Fish the market for a fresh meal

A visit to Barcelona’s fishing port and market, hosted by a local marine biologist, will allow hotel guests to experience the bustling sights and sounds of local life. Guests can also roam around La Barceloneta where customary tapas are served. For dinner back at the hotel, a private chef will prepare the fish that guests selected at the market earlier that day.

A sweet taste of Barcelona

A guide tour around some of the city’s chocolatiers will take guests to both classic-style and modern specialty shops for tastings or to partake in workshops. The guided tour includes a visit through the El Gotic and El Raval neighborhoods, a young and vibrant part of Barcelona.

Majestic Experiences require an additional charge and prices vary per season. These can be booked and customised with the help of the property’s concierge.
