Carnival Legend - currently adding food and beverage outlets and more during a two-week dry dock
Carnival Legend will reposition to Port Tampa Bay in October 2019, replacing Carnival Miracle, which will move to another homeport to be announced shortly.

Carnival Legend most recently sailed a season from Melbourne, Australia, and currently is undergoing a dry dock refurbishment in Portland, Oregon, prior to starting Alaska cruises from Seattle.

Back to Australia, then a second Alaska season

After the Alaska season, Carnival Legend will return to Australia with a series of departures from Sydney and Melbourne the southern summer. In 2019, the ship will go back to Seattle for another series of weekly Alaska cruises before moving to Tampa in autumn 2019.

Carnival Legend’s seven-day Tampa cruises will visit Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Roatán's Mahogany Bay and Belize City or Costa Maya. The ship's schedule from the Florida Gulf port kicks off Oct. 27, 2019.

Alaska, Hawaii and Panama Canal on longer 'Carnival Journeys'

Prior to its Tampa deployment, Carnival Legend will also operate a series of longer 'Carnival Journeys' voyages in 2019, including a nine-day Alaska cruise from Vancouver, a 16-day Hawaii voyage from Vancouver and 15-day Panama Canal transit that begins in Los Angeles and ends in Tampa, positioning the vessel for its new schedule from that port.

Carnival Legend will also operate a round-trip 14-day Panama Canal cruise from Tampa Dec. 1, 2019. Later, on Jan. 25, 2020, a special eight-day voyage includes a partial transit of the Panama Canal as well as port calls at Limón (Costa Rica) and Grand Cayman.

New food and beverage outlets

The current two-week docking will add food and beverage concepts including Guy’s Burger Joint, developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and the Mexican-themed BlueIguana Cantina. Enhancements to Camp Ocean, a marine-themed kids play area, and Circle 'C,' catering to 12- to 14-year-olds, as well as new retail outlets, are also being incorporated.
