Stewart Williams will bring the Celestyal Cruises story to new passengers
The appointment of Stewart Williams as regional manager Asia Pacific is ‘a core component’ in the company’s plans to expand throughout the region,’ Chris Theophilides, ceo of Celestyal Cruises, said.

‘Adding Stewart Williams to our senior commercial team demonstrates our commitment to the Australasian market,’ Theophilides said.

Globus background

Williams, who was md Australasia for the Globus Family of Brands for 20 years, will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for the development of the company’s APAC business by enhancing revenue streams and increasing the visibility of the Celestyal Cruises brand across all distribution channels.

Wan Wang, Celestyal’s business development executive in Shanghai, will report to Williams.

Multi-channel distribution and brand building expertise

‘The depth and breadth of Williams’ expertise, which encompasses multi-channel distribution development, brand building and leading effective teams, will make it possible for us to accelerate our business development efforts across this strategically important region,’ Celestyal’s chief commercial officer, Leslie Peden, said.

Williams is currently on a seven-day familiarisation cruise from Piraeus to Mykonos, Milos, Santorini, Heraklion and Kusadasi aboard Celestyal Crystal.
