The southern Chinese city Wenzhou is to have three homeport cruises by Costa Atlantica this year, starting April 12. It is the largest cruise ship to call at Wenzhou.

Wenzhou International Cruise Port launched trial operation in December 2017 and commenced official operation in August 2018.

Currently, the port has one cruise berth that can accommodate ships up to 100,000gt, with a designed annual passenger handling capacity of 220,000 people.

East China ports

Currently, there are two cruise ports in Zhejiang province, including Wenzhou International Cruise Port and Zhoushan Archipelago International Cruise Port.

Wenzhou, close to Shanghai, aims to develop itself to be a major cruise port in the East China region as part of its short-term development plan.
