Fresh ingredients and destination inspiration went into developing the new drinks
Princess Cruises is introducing globally inspired signature cocktails created by master mixologist Rob Floyd.

As one of the most significant beverage changes in the company's history, the new menu is built on destination-specific ingredients with flavors from every corner of the world.

New exotic spirits, wines by the glass and craft beers

In addition to the cocktails, Princess has added 20 new high-end and exotic spirits, 39 new wines by the glass and 17 new international and craft beers.

Highlights include a set of signature cocktails designed by Floyd, who used fresh ingredients and destination inspiration to develop the new drinks. Bars and lounges throughout the ships will also feature new, themed menus, so patrons can have fun exploring the different offerings.

Floyd bases his concoctions on 'taste, technique and tale.' The latter is a creative and fascinating inspiration behind each cocktail.

The new menu offers such signature drinks as Mayan Heat, made with Patrón Silver tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave syrup and muddled jalapeño, and Italian Sunset, with Aperol, Bombay Sapphire gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and Angostura bitters.

The Egyptian Zombie, meanwhile, has Bacardi Superior rum, Gosling’s dark rum, blackberry brandy, sweet and sour, orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine.

Zero-alcohol choices

Rounding out the new selection are light, fruity and refreshing cocktails without alcohol, for example, Zero Mojito with fresh mint, lime, simple syrup and Sprite, and Strawberries on Fire, made of fresh strawberries, lime juice, agave syrup, jalapeño and soda.

The new beverage menu will be available aboard all ships in fall 2018.

In addition to adding the new wines by the glass, Princess worked with Doug Frost, one of only four people in the world to hold both the prestigious ranks of master sommelier and master of wine, to refresh the wine menus. Details will be shortly announced.
