The 120-passenger Coral Adventurer will have an ‘Australian Geographic Research Room’ for live science, culture and research projects that aim to connect passengers with destinations on the itineraries.
The ‘scientists in residence’ programmes on board will support scientific research in remote regions and part of the proceeds from the voyages will go towards the Australian Geographic Society’s adventure and conservation projects.
‘This is an important and exciting partnership for Coral Expeditions,’ Mark Fifield, Coral Expeditions Group gm said.
