Ample chances to meet informally at meals, social functions, in the trade show and on tours
A packed roster of social events and networking opportunities is in store for attendees of the fast-approaching Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Conference & Trade Show in San Juan.

Record cruise executive turnout expected

In addition to meetings and workshops, the Nov. 5-9 event will offer social functions and tours that provide chances to rub elbows with the largest delegation of cruise executives in the gathering's history, with more than 150 expected—including a dozen chairmen, presidents and/or CEOs.

'I am excited to meet with the destination stakeholders at the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show,' said FCCA chairman Adam Goldstein, vice chairman of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. 'This event gathers not only some of the cruise industry's most prominent players, but also many of the people and products I need to know and learn about, making it possible for us all to grow together.'

Business functions and informal events

'By sending the the event's largest-ever executive delegation, the cruise industry has proven its interest in doing business with stakeholders throughout the Caribbean and Latin America,' FCCA president Michele Paige said. The association is pulling out all the stops, she added, to ensure every attendee can develop relationships during a blend of business functions and fun networking events.

In addition to informal gatherings and lunches throughout the meetings, workshops, trade show and VIP room, the event features nightly social receptions from Nov. 5-8. Host Puerto Rico will be showing off its notable sights, sounds and flavors.

With Casa Bacardí, Vivo Beach Club, Bella Vista Terrace and the trade show floor itself hosting the events, attendees can look forward to live music, dancing and food stations with local delicacies.

Tours for spelunkers to foodies

Wrapping the event on Nov. 9 are tours open to all attendees. Choices include spelunking in Cueva Ventana and discovering the indigenous Taíno culture, a Bacardi rum tasting tour, a walking food tour in San Juan's newest dining destination, La Calle Loíza, and shopping at the Mall of San Juan.
