Tony Archbold, Holland America Line’s director of sales and marketing in Australia, hosted a screening of BBC Earth’s Frozen Planet for media and travel partners in Sydney today aboard Noordam, which is making her third extended cruise season Down Under.

The accompanying score by award-winning composer George Fenton was played by musicians who are performing on board Noordam following its exclusive partnership with the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Holland America Line’s exclusive partnership with BBC Earth was launched in 2016 and has since been rolled out across the fleet.

The Frozen Planet concert based on the BBC Earth Frozen Planet television series takes passengers on a spellbinding journey into the wilderness of the polar regions.

Archbold, who later showcased the company’s culinary skills at lunch in the Pinnacle Grill, said the BBC Earth performances have been an outstanding success with passengers.

‘We are destination-driven,’ he said. ‘Our passengers have a strong desire to learn and experience.

‘We don’t just sell travel. We open people’s eyes.'
