Intercruises offers a different way to see Dubrovnik — by catamaran

intercruises' seaGULL 30 in dubrovnik
SeaGULL 30 is 'totally different from anything else that is currently available,' according to Intercruises' Maro Saulovic, national manager Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia & Albania,
Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services has invested in its own catamaran, which has been operating in Dubrovnik since early June.

SeaGULL 30 was custom-built in 2019 in Perpignan, France, and has capacity for 80 passengers and five crew, made up of experienced sailors from Dubrovnik, including two captains now working full time for Intercruises.

In an effort to be more sustainable, the catamaran’s sails are utilized as much as possible, with the engine only used when necessary.

Varied excursion options

SeaGULL 30 currently operates seven shore excursion programs, with highlights including guest pick-up directly from the gangway, a Dubrovnik Old Town cruise, sailing to the nearby Lokrum or Elaphite islands. Tour participants can also swim from the catamaran, which is equipped with ladders.

Intercruises' Maro Saulovic, national manager Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia & Albania, said the catamaran provides something 'totally different from anything else that is currently available,' adding that SeaGULL 30 is always operating at near full capacity.

'This investment,' Saulovic said, 'shows Intercruises’ dedication and commitment to the destination and also to supporting cruise lines in diversifying the shorex portfolio to increase guest participation rates.'
