So said Crystal president and CEO Tom Wolber at the company's annual sales gala for top-producing travel agents, taking place this week aboard Crystal Symphony.
Wolber shared the first glimpse of the luxury accommodations aboard Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises' 2020 newbuild. At 19,800gt, Crystal Endeavor will carry 200 passengers in all-suite accommodations.
'Crystal Endeavor’s suites are an important part of the overall experience that is rooted in luxury and comfort, even while in the midst of extreme adventure,' Wolber said.
Stylish design is matched by the latest technological amenities that will enhance the experience with fine details, like ambient lighting, interactive streaming televisions and bedside iPads that provide voyage information and numerous international daily newspapers.
Top Penthouse Suite measures 1,130 square feet
The 100 suites include two Crystal Penthouse Suites (985 square feet to 1,130 square feet), eight Penthouse Suites (457 square feet) and 90 Deluxe Suites (304 square feet). The larger of the two Crystal Penthouse Suites features a two-bedroom layout, while the other one-bedroom plan connects to an adjacent Deluxe Suite through an adjoining entry, ideal for families or friends traveling together.
Both offer dedicated dining areas and butler’s prep space for in-suite dining from any of Crystal Endeavor’s restaurants. The Penthouse Suites and Deluxe Suites offer separate sleeping and sitting areas, private verandas and desk/vanity areas.
Generous public spaces, a full-service spa and salon, six restaurants including Nobu Matsuhisa’s Umi Uma, mud rooms for expedition equipment and a helicopter lounge are other amenities of the vessel, which emulates many Crystal brand hallmarks.
Crystal Endeavor's steel-cutting took place at MV Werften in January.
Itinerary details and on-sale date will be announced later.
