Any passengers sailing on the two ships after that date who booked a cruise including 'Free Open Bar' at time of purchase will still get the offer.
Three-year run
Norwegian began bundling drinks into the pricing for Norwegian Sky in 2016 as a way of differentiating its short, year-round cruises to the Bahamas from PortMiami. That was continued with the ship's Cuba itineraries and extended to Norwegian Sun when it began short sailings to the Bahamas and Cuba from Port Canaveral in 2018.
Cuba calls were just discontinued due to a US policy change.
Drinks package in 'Free at Sea'
Going forward, passengers can continue to have unlimited open bar privileges by booking Norwegian's 'Free at Sea' promotion, which also offers complimentary specialty dining, shore excursion credits, free Wi-Fi, the option to have friends and family sail free and free or reduced airfare.
