Royal's Cuba ships get new routes, including year-round New Orleans

Royal Caribbean International rolled out new routes for Majesty of the Seas and Empress of the Seas, which had been sailing to Cuba.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Starting in January, Majesty of the Seas will operate year-round from New Orleans with weeklong cruises featuring Perfect Day at CocoCay. The ship currently sails four- and five-night getaways from Port Everglades to Nassau, Key West, Cozumel and CocoCay.

Departures through through April 2020 are now open to book. Sailings from May 2020 through April 2021 will open the week of July 22.

Empress adds Virgin Gorda

Empress of the Seas will continue to depart from PortMiami, adding Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands as a new Royal Caribbean destination. The ship's six- to eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings will also visit Mexico, Belize and the Bahamas, including Perfect Day at CocoCay on select itineraries.

Empress cruises from January through April 2020 are now available to book. Details for the ship’s 2020-21 deployment will be announced and open to book in the upcoming weeks.
