Seabourn is offering four new land-based European excursions that can be tacked on as extensions to a selection of 2020 cruises.

UNESCO Imperial Heritage of Europe

'UNESCO Imperial Heritage of Europe' is available as a 10-day pre- or post-cruise add-on. Included are Budapest over two days; Vienna’s Parliament, Opera House and City Hall, plus the option to see Schönbrunn Palace; Old Town Prague and Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral; and Dresden's Altstadt including Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera, baroque Neustadt and the New Synagogue.

Next stop is Berlin with sites of historical importance: Checkpoint Charlie and Reichstag Dome. The trip combines a Baltic ferry crossing from Rostock to Gedser with free time in Copenhagen over two days.

Lakeside Gems of the Swiss Alps

This six-day tour of the Swiss Alp Lakes includes a stop at Lake Lucerne and a walking tour of Old Town Lucerne with a ride on the rotating gondola to the tip of Mount Titlis, the highest point in the country. The itinerary also includes Lake Lugano and a private car transfer through the Italian Dolomites, travelling across the Italian countryside from Veneto to Venice.

Treasures of Tuscany

A six-day tour of Tuscany visits medieval towns and vineyards. Local cheese can be sampled in Castello di Corsignano, with a local wine tasting in Montalcino. Florentine art can be observed on a guided tour through the centre of Florence, followed by a cooking class using local fresh produce.

A walking tour in Lucca visits San Martino Cathedral and the Roman amphitheatre. This is combined with a tour of a pasta factory, followed by a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The journey concludes at the Piazza Duomo and Cathedral in Orivieto, with the option to descend the 203ft deep St. Patrick’s Well.

Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

The fourth option includes travel on Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a private luxury train service that can be booked as a six-day pre-cruise excursion. The tour starts at Belmond Cadogan Hotel in Chelsea, London, with a three-day stay. On day four, passengers board the British Pullman train at Victoria Station before travelling through the Italian Dolomites to Venice prior to their cruise.

The extensions are available with transfers to and from Seabourn vessels and are guaranteed with a minimum of two people.
