Seatrade Cruise launches new Expedition brand

In response to the growing importance of expedition cruising, Seatrade will launch its new brand, ‘Seatrade Cruise Expedition,’ at Seatrade Cruise Global, Miami, in April 2020 and at Seatrade Cruise Med in Málaga in September 2020.

The launch will create the opportunity for the global community involved in this exciting new growth sector and those looking to enter it to meet and share dialogue, learn, explore new opportunities and network.

Expedition cruising is flourishing as the trend for adventure, connection and exploration rises amongst travellers and drives the need for new and interesting destinations across the globe.

Expedition ships account for almost one third of the orderbook with over 40 expedition newbuilds planned for delivery between 2019-2022 from 17 owners including luxury cruise lines building to meet consumer demand.

Expanded content at Seatrade Cruise Global 2020

The number of expedition focused destinations and suppliers exhibiting at Seatrade Cruise Global has been growing consistently over the last few years and the 2020 event in Miami, April 20-23, is anticipated to see more take-up, in addition to expanded dedicated conference sessions.

Dedicated exhibition area, content and workshop at Seatrade Cruise Med

Seatrade Cruise Med, taking place in Málaga September 16-17, 2020, will include specially curated Seatrade Cruise Expedition content, workshops and a dedicated area on the show floor for shipyards, designers, suppliers, new ports, destinations and shorex providers to showcase their expedition products and services.
