Princess Cruises' MedallionClass experience will be implemented aboard Royal Princess, Crown Princess and Sky Princess this year. They'll join Caribbean Princess in offering personalized experiences facilitated by a wearable device and, starting Feb. 17, Regal Princess.

Activation aboard all Caribbean ships and one in Alaska

With the activation of Crown Princess in July and Sky Princess in October, all Princess passengers in the Caribbean will be able to use OceanMedallion by the end of 2019. The addition of Royal Princess will also be the first time a MedallionClass ship will sail in Alaska.

Princess president Jan Swartz said with the five ships this year, the line continues on its path to fleetwide activation.

OceanMedallion features leading-edge technology that delivers personalized service through enhanced passenger-crew interactions, eliminates friction points and enables interactive entertainment.

Expedited embarkation, on-demand beverage delivery, easy payment for purchases and hands-free keyless stateroom entry are some of the features.

JourneyView

Available now on ship portals and coming soon to smart devices, JourneyView, an interactive timeline, lets passengers scroll through all of the events available on board during their voyage. Functionality will soon give the ability to bookmark and add activities that appeal most to them to their own personalized itinerary.
