More opportunities for buyers and suppliers to connect at new networking events
A new show floor design, abundant networking events and more educational opportunities highlight this year's Seatrade Cruise Global, which returns to the newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center April 8-11.

The organizers said new elements were curated to place cruise lines at the forefront of the industry’s latest trends and innovations and facilitate the exhange of ideas and solutions.

Show floor design

Organized into eight neighborhoods, the new layout allows buyers to optimize their time and connect with more than 700 exhibitors. The carefully designed floor plan promotes a stronger feeling of community within trending sectors, including Design and Ship Interiors; Entertainment; Environmental and Health; Hotel Operations and Concessions; Information Technology; Ports and Destinations; Safety and Security; and Ship Equipment and Shipbuilding.

Networking events

In effort to create more organic networking opportunities for the more than 11,000 attendees, new receptions and happy hours will take place throughout the three-day expo. A full list is here.

Highlights include a Safety & Sustainability Reception, April 9 at the Safety & Sustainability Theater and a Hotel Operations & Concessions Reception April 9 at the Promenade. A Design & Ship Interiors Reception is planned for April 10 at the Design Lounge, while an Information Technology Reception will take place the same day at the Cruising Innovations Theater.

Educational opportunities

The 2019 program showcases the innovative and sustainable practices that are propelling the industry into the future. New theaters and features include the Promenade, featuring must-see live demos and tastings in a new pavilion for all the groundbreaking innovations in hotel operations and concessions.

The Safety & Sustainability Theater will showcase the latest cyber, port and tour security systems, as well as new biometrics, access control, monitoring and life-saving technologies, in addition to sustainability technologies and innovations on board and ashore.

Attendees can use the enhanced Seatrade Cruise Global mobile app to easily navigate the show floor, create customized schedules and connect with potential partners.
