Oceania Cruises continues its years-long run of ‘Around The World In 180 Days’ world voyages in 2022.

LA to NYC

The cruise, which opened for booking today, will sail from Los Angeles to New York, visiting destinations in the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa and northern Europe.

Nine-port Japan immersion

‘Guests will experience a truly unique combination of destinations that includes the South Pacific, Asia, India and even the British Isles,’ Oceania President & CEO Bob Binder said. ‘I think guests will be most delighted by the 12-day, nine-port immersion into Japan as well as the lesser-known cultural jewels of western Africa.’

Charting a westward route, Insignia will cross the Pacific to the Hawaiian Islands, the French Polynesia and Fijian enclaves. The course continues south toward the coasts and fjords of New Zealand followed by an extensive exploration Down Under, giving ample time for travelers to discover the reefs, capital cities and Aboriginal culture of Australia.

Insignia then explores Asia, with opportunities to delve into Bali, Kyoto, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Yangon. More adventures await at African game reserves, the acclaimed vineyards dotting the Cape Winelands, the volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands and the canals of Amsterdam.

By the numbers

‘Around The World In 180 Days’ will visit six continents, 44 countries, 43 islands and 91 ports. The voyage will offer access to 68 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There will be 19 overnights in ports.

Fares start at $39,799 per person.

Exclusive shoreside events are planned for those who take the full voyage. They’ll range from an overnight at one of Shanghai’s most luxe and architecturally bold hotels to a regal feast and cultural festivities at the UNESCO-protected Royal Citadel in Hue.

Package of perks

Oceania’s ‘Exclusive Prestige Package’ includes perks like first-class round-trip airfare, free pre-paid gratuities, laundry service, on-board medical care, luggage delivery, transfers, Wi-Fi and pre-cruise luxury hotel stay.
