Lady Cristina will join Plantour's fleet for cruises in central Europe next year
Plantours Kreuzfahrten added Lady Cristina to its fleet, with the vessel scheduled for 23 departures from Frankfurt/Main in 2023, spanning 10 routes and varying in duration.

The vessel will operate the five- to 10-day itineraries on the Rhine and Main rivers, the Main-Danube Canal as well as rivers in the Netherlands and Belgium.

According to Oliver Steuber, the MD of Plantours Kreuzfahrten, the vessel is being chartered in response to growing demand for river cruises. Steuber said Plantours has received many first-time river cruise passengers recently owing to its ‘diverse fleet and numerous route options.’

Plantours already has approximately 100 river cruises available for next year. Full details of Lady Cristina’s 2023 sailings are set to be released soon.

Delivered as Amadagio in 2006

Lady Cristina, built at Scheepswerf Grave BV, was delivered in April 2006 under the name Amadagio. Since then, the 110-mtr long vessel has operated as Monarch Queen and Gustav Klimt.

On charter to Plantours, Lady Cristina will accommodate up to 148 passengers in 74 cabins and suites. Public areas include two restaurants, a fitness area and a whirlpool.
