Dredging was carrier out at the Port's two main berths
Portland Port on England’s south coast has increased its water depth to 11 mtr following the completion of a dredging project that will help to accommodate cruise vessels.

RFA vessels, dry bulk and cargo ships are also set to benefit from the increased berth capacity at the Port’s main berths - Outer Coaling Pier and the outer arm of Queens Pier.

It is hoped the project to improve berth utilisation will aid expansion of the port and prove advantageous to the local community.
