Cruise Lines International Association’s Bo Larsen and Andrew Walker have been promoted to new roles as part of a newly established Global Membership & Commercial Division.

Larsen will step up and out of day-to-day management of the Executive Partner program and, effective immediately, take on a broader portfolio serving as a senior advisor to CLIA President and CEO Kelly Craighead

New enterprise strategies

Having taken the Executive Partner program global in the past six years, Larsen is now tasked to identify and explore new enterprise strategies across ocean, river and specialty cruise lines.

‘Establishing an integrated membership operation and commercial division that allows for more collaboration between the individual membership segments will help us leverage our work across the organization to the benefit of the entire cruise community,’ Craighead said.

Walker has been promoted to senior director of membership & events, reporting to Andy Harmer, SVP membership & national director for the UK and Ireland.

As part of the new structure CLIA is seeking a leader for the Global Membership & Commercial Division, expected to be complete in early 2021.
