Carnival (formerly Costa) Firenze was 'designed to evoke the same charm and beauty found in Florence'
Reservations opened for Carnival Firenze, the second Carnival Cruise Line ship to showcase 'Carnival Fun Italian Style.'

Carnival (formerly Costa) Firenze is to begin sailing year-round from Long Beach, California starting in May 2024 through April 2025.

Named after Florence, Italy, the ship was 'designed to evoke the same charm and beauty found in Florence and she'll also pack in plenty of Carnival fun,' Carnival President Christine Duffy said.

Joins Carnival Panorama and Carnival Radiance

The ship joins Carnival Panorama and Carnival Radiance, offering a range of sailings to Baja California and the Mexican Riviera.

The newly available Carnival Firenze itineraries include 15 different options of three to seven days.

The five-day inaugural cruise departs May 2, 2024 and visits Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. Among the other choices are six-day cruises that visit Ensenada and spend two days in Cabo San Lucas and weeklong sailings that visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas.

Follows Carnival Venezia

The ship follows the newly handed-over Carnival Venezia in the 'Carnival Fun Italian Style' concept. Carnival Venezia will sail year-round from New York.
