Seatrade Cruise Global is coming to Fort Lauderdale in 2023

The four-day event is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees, bringing together cruise professionals, thought leaders and innovators from all facets of the industry
Broward County Convention Center in Greater Fort Lauderdale will host next year’s Seatrade Cruise Global, taking place March 27-30.

The change of date and venue mitigates challenges that may have emerged from sharing Miami Beach with the 2023 Formula One Grand Prix event. The decision was made in response to exhibitor and attendee feedback and following close consultation with Cruise Lines International Association and Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association, alongside other cruise line and industry partners.

Seatrade Cruise Global will return to its customary April time frame in 2024 and onwards.

Will help ensure an optimal event experience

Keeping our mission at the forefront, we’re confident that hosting the event at an earlier date in Fort Lauderdale will help ensure an optimal event experience for our exhibitors, partners and attendees, said Chiara Giorgi, global brand and event director for Seatrade Cruise. With the exhibit hall doubling in size, we’re able to recreate our traditional show floor layout, and hence, can accommodate our State of the Industry Keynote opening session onsite in the expansive Grand Ballroom.

The four-day event is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees, bringing together cruise professionals, thought leaders and innovators from all facets of the industry.

Held at one of the busiest cruise ports in the world

'We look forward to reuniting with our colleagues worldwide at Seatrade Cruise Global in March 2023 where we will continue to collaborate and explore solutions that support sustainable cruising as we sail to a better future,’ said Kelly Craighead, president and CEO of CLIA.

Added FCCA CEO Michele Paige regarding the change of venue, ‘Serving as a hub for U.S. travel to the Caribbean, we’re excited to welcome our partners to the home of one of the busiest cruise ports in the world for another dynamic edition of Seatrade Cruise Global.’

New and improved venue

Recent updates to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center – part of the venue’s highly anticipated $1b renovation and expansion – include the extension of the exhibit hall to 350,000 square feet of continuous space, allowing all exhibitors to remain on a single show floor. Additional upgrades such as modern technologies, innovative dining concessions, versatile pre-function space and modern décor reflective of Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful waterfront, will elevate the conference experience.
