Spotl1ght Communications to represent Ponant’s PR interests in UK

Ponant has retained Spotl1ght Communications to drive its UK public relations campaign, as it continues to consolidate its brand awareness and positioning across the British market.

Account services include promoting Ponant through media and influencer relations, press trips, strategic partnerships, brand and image management and events.   

‘Ponant is embarking on an amazing journey of new ships and adventures for ocean expeditions this year,’ said Belinda Hindmarsh, Ponant’s group deputy CEO, global business. ‘We wanted a UK public relations agency that could support our brand positioning as a leading luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand and we are delighted to have Spotl1ght on board.

Ponant update

Le Commandant Charcot’s deployment to the Baffin Sea on March 6, 2025, will make it the first cruise ship of the season to operate in the region, offering 13 departures over seven varied itineraries, including two new routes to explore the Great North.

Ponant will continue utilising shore power: Le Bellot was among the first vessels to use the technology in Hafnarfjörur, Iceland in 2022.
