AIDA Cruises appoints Bernhard Götze to lead IT

'We welcome an IT leader with many years of international experience,' said CFO Wolfgang Jani, who joined AIDA Cruises in late 2021.

Global CIO from Apleona Group

Götze has more than 20 years of international experience in IT strategy, development and digitalization. Most recently he was global CIO with responsibility for the Apleona Group in Frankfurt. Previous positions include CIO international at the French Veolia group. Throughout his career, he has received several awards, such as 'CIO of the Year' and the business newspaper Handelsblatt's award, 'Diamond Star for IT Innovation.'

Götze will start Feb. 15, reporting to Jani and to Greg Sullivan, CIO, Carnival Corp. & plc.
