Hodson has solid experience in itinerary planning, navigation and port and nautical operations. She spent a decade shoreside at Crystal, until 2022, ultimately serving as director of itinerary planning, port booking and fuel management. Earlier she directed nautical and port operations and served as company security officer.

22 years at sea

A master mariner, Hodson holds a Master Class 1 license and worked on many kinds of vessels — cruise ships, private yachts and numerous types of cargo vessels — during 22 years at sea.

Among her positions were first officer at Crystal, chief officer for the yacht Haida G, first officer, navigation and chief officer, Royal Caribbean and navigation officer for Austalian National Line.
