Carnival holds Christmas in July for Sydney Children’s Hospitals
Patients from Sydney Children’s Hospitals and their families were invited to a festive Christmas in July onboard Carnival Splendor in Sydney Harbour.
There was ‘snow,’ a giant Christmas tree lighting ceremony, sing-a-long caroling and a reading of ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas,' as well as all the traditional Christmas treats.
Cheque presentation
Carnival Splendor Cruise Director Simon London presented a cheque to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation Chief Marketing Officer Kate Ferguson, for A$62,758, the total amount raised onboard Carnival Splendor over the last year.
‘Thanks to the generosity of Carnival Cruise Line we can continue making positive difference to the lives of the 159,000 children who come through the doors of our state’s children’s hospitals each year’ Ferguson said.
A$375,000 raised since 2016
Carnival Cruise Line has supported Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation since 2016, hosting the ‘Conga for Kids’ onboard its ships and raising a total of A$375,000 to date.
