The Catlante 560 series, to be built at the Normandy Yacht Service shipyard in Caen, France, are scheduled for delivery Oct. 15, 2024 and March 15, 2025.

The vessels, which will sail in the Caribbean in winter and the Mediterranean in summer, are available to book by the cabin and for private charter.

Eco-friendly design

They will be made of aluminum, a durable and recyclable material, and equipped with solar panels. The naval architect is Thomas Serré, formerly in charge of the design office at Sunreef, a world leader in the construction of eco-friendly catamarans.

The newbuilds will increase Catlante's fleet to 18 vessels with operations in Corsica, the Caribbean and the Seychelles.

Catlante 560 particulars

Each Catlante 560 measures 17.06 meters/56 feet, with four passenger cabins, including two triples, all with private bathrooms. The two crew cabins accommodate the captain and a chef.

An observation and relaxation platform replaces the forward nets, while a fly-bridge provides sunbathing area. Large aft skirts facilitates access to swimming and secure boarding.

Bellaïche said the Catlante 560 represents 'the pinnacle of innovation and comfort at sea.'

Following a decade at Ponant

Bellaïche joined Catlante Catamaran in October following a decade with Ponant, most recently as deputy CEO, sales, marketing and communications.
