For Captain's Club members, the annual cruise provides an opportunity for Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge and other Celebrity executive team members to spend time with the line’s loyal guests, while getting elevated experiences not offered on any other sailing.

Hodges Bethge broke the news during the 2024 President’s Cruise.

The voyage will commence on May 17, and will be the line's first President's Cruise in the Norwegian Fjords.

Helping to shape the future

‘The President’s Cruise is a massive celebration of our Captain’s Club members, and the sailing is an incredible opportunity for me and the executive team to spend time with our guests,’ said Hodges Bethge. ‘It is incredibly rewarding to hear guests’ stories and experience Celebrity through their eyes. The feedback and ideas we receive while onboard are instrumental in shaping the future of Celebrity Cruises, allowing us to innovate and enhance our offerings in ways that truly resonate with our guests.’

Natural wonders and striking landscapes, wildlife and waterfalls will feature on the 2025 programme, with opportunities for history buffs, foodies, and adventure seekers provided by Norway’s cities and villages.

Passengers can soak up Oslo, Alesund and Bergen with an array of to-be-announced shore excursions, special events and unique experiences.

2024 President's Cruise

Celebrity Beyond operated this year’s six-night President Cruise, which kicked off on June 23 in the Caribbean. It featured exclusive entertainment, premium tailored excursions and a sneak peek into what passengers can experience in the months and years to come.

Two sea days were filled with various activities. A pool party featured performances from members of the Team USA Artistic Swimming team, entertainment from Guinness World Record holding hula hoopers, and crowd-favourite games like the Officers vs Guests pool volleyball game, umpired by Hodges Bethge. ‘A Conversation with Celebrity’ gave passengers an opportunity to ask their unfiltered questions to Celebrity executives and guests were treated to unique performances throughout the week from West End star Marisha Wallace and Celebrity Reflection captain Kyriakos Matragkas.

The special sailing highlighted one of Celebrity’s newest experiences: a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay. This included jet ski and flyboard stunt performers, Caribbean Junkanoo bands, DJs, an afternoon soirée for Captain's Club members at Coco Beach Club and more.

In Grand Cayman, passengers set off on shore excursions hosted by Celebrity's executive team, with Hodges Bethge and Kenneth Vernon Bryan, minister for tourism and ports for the Cayman Islands, hosting a private lunch at the iconic Grand Old House, the oldest dwelling on Grand Cayman.

A day in Bimini rounded out the trip, where the President’s Cruise took over the island for a private beach club party, before the ship received a send-off with fireworks ahead of returning to Port Everglades.
