Clément Mousset joins Orient Express Silenseas as chief strategy officer
Former CFC-Compagnie Française de Croisières co-founder Clément Mousset joined Accor's Orient Express Silenseas as chief strategy officer.
He brings 25 years of cruise industry experience including more than five dedicated to CFC.
'Honored, thrilled and excited' to join a 'very qualified, highly motivated and passionate team,' is how Mousset announced his appointment on social media.
'For the next two years, I'll dedicate all my energy to the group's strategy in order to promote our two extraordinary ships and be the voice of the company to make it an important player in the French cruise industry,' he said.
Orient Express Corinthian construction under way
As earlier reported, Chantiers de l'Atlantique cut steel last week for Orient Express Corinthian, the first of two ships planned to sail under French flag in the Registre international français registry which Mousset has been 'fighting for, for years.'
They are scheduled to enter service in 2026 and 2027.
