CLIA Australasia announces Cruise360 2024 speakers

International and local speakers were revealed for the sold-out Cruise Lines International Association Australasia Cruise360 to be held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on August 30.

Coming from overseas are Steve Spivak, Tauck’s VP global sales; Conrad Combrink, Silversea’s SVP expeditions, destination & itinerary management; Lee Haslett, CCO for Celestyal Cruises; Chantelle Lusebrink, tourism development manager, Port of SeattleDavid Tanguay, Aurora Expeditions’ global head of sales; and Adam Coulter, Cruise Critic executive editor.

Local luminaries are Peter Little, Carnival’s SVP & country manager and chairman of CLIA Australasia; Gavin Smith, Royal Caribbean Cruises’ VP and MD Australia; Ben Angell, VP and MD APAC for Norwegian Cruise Line; and Deb Corbett, Ponant’s CEO Asia Pacific.

Biggest trade show

The event will also include CLIA Australasia’s biggest trade show, with its first River Cruise Showcase to be held August 29.

More than 800 travel agents and cruise industry representatives are expected to attend what will be the biggest cruise conference in the Southern Hemisphere.

‘Cruise360 is a fantastic opportunity to hear from cruising thought-leaders and to connect with colleagues from across the cruise sector,’ MD Joel Katz said.

She has been the Australasia correspondent for Seatrade Cruise Review since 1997 and for Seatrade Insider (now Seatrade Cruise News) since its launch in 2000.
