Raffaelle D'Ambrosio, general manager - France and VP Costa Croisières, is leaving at the end of May.

After 14 years with Costa, including the last five in Paris, D'Ambrosio plans to dedicate himself to a family business in Italy, his home country. 

Interim successor Luca Di Persio

His position will be filled on an interim basis by Luca Di Persio, VP ommercial, in charge of strategic markets for Costa Croisières.

'We would like to thank Raffaelle D'Ambrosio for his remarkable commitment to this company for all these years and we wish him the best for his professional future,' Costa said.

Key market

France remains a key market for the company, which plans to have its full fleet sailing this summer, including four new ships in the Mediterranean (Costa Toscana, Smeralda, Firenze and Venezia).
