Reporting to President and CEO Barbara Muckermann, he will drive global sales strategies across all channels.

Regional managing directors will report to Brancaleoni

Silversea's regional managing directors will report to Brancaleoni. They include Mark Conroy (Americas), Peter Shanks (UK, Ireland, Middle East, Africa), Andreas Nüssel (Europe) and Adam Radwanski (Asia Pacific).

Muckermann noted this is a newly created role and said Brancaleoni's wealth of experience and international background will 'prove crucial as we further strengthen our position ...'

Revenue management prowess

Known for his revenue management prowess, Brancaleoni most recently served as SVP global sales at Costa Cruises in Genoa for six years, until leaving the company in 2021.

He had come to Costa in 2000 as pricing and revenue management director and later served as VP Asia Pacific operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He returned to Genoa as VP worldwide sales service in late 2009 and in 2013 became GM of Iberocruceros-Costa Cruceros Spain. He got the SVP worldwide sales role in February 2015.

Brancaleoni said he looks forward to strengthening Silversea's 'stellar reputation as the market leader, working with the global sales team to drive growth across all markets' and to working closely with Silversea’s travel advisor partners.
