Deb Corbett to succeed Chris Hall as CEO Ponant Asia Pacific

Deb Corbett, Ponant’s former GM sales and marketing Asia Pacific, takes on the role of CEO Asia Pacific when Chris Hall departs the company at the end of this month.

Hall, who took up his position in February 2023 with the joint title special advisor, has been based at the company’s headquarters in Marseille since October last year.

New COO

Corbett, who has been with Ponant for seven years, will be assisted by Maxime Farrenq, who has been appointed COO, and Julie Rogers, director of sales, whose portfolio has been expanded to include Japan and Hong Kong.

David Marionneau is taking on the new role of director of maritime operations, while Charles Boutet is director of marketing and communications, Mick Fogg is director of expedition and destination development and Helen Delgado is customer engagement director.

Sarina Bratton continues as global senior strategic advisor and honorary chairman and will consult with the APAC team on developing the Paspaley Pearl by Ponant business and start-up operation.

She has been the Australasia correspondent for Seatrade Cruise Review since 1997 and for Seatrade Insider (now Seatrade Cruise News) since its launch in 2000.
