A group of Bahamian summer camp students embarked Disney Wish to learn first-hand from Disney Cruise Line crew members about careers at sea.

More than 25 students, ages 10 to 13, recently participated in a two-week maritime summer camp sponsored by Disney at the LJM Maritime Academy in Nassau.

Ship tour and crew interaction

While Disney Wish was at Nassau Cruise Port, the students toured the ship, learned from crew members in a variety of roles, met the captain and visited the bridge.

This initiative is one of many that are part of Disney Future Storytellers, the Walt Disney Co.’s commitment to empowering the next generation of storytellers and innovators.
