Hedda Felin will join in March after 14 years with Equinor
Hurtigruten Group appointed Hedda Felin CEO of Hurtigruten Norway to oversee coastal operations.

'Hedda is a highly respected executive, a true visionary and the right woman for this unique position. Her profile, values and spirit fit very well with Hurtigruten’s commitment to sustainability, local communities and creating unique experiences,' Hurtigruten Group CEO Daniel Skjeldam said.

Coastal and expedition operations separate

As earlier reported, the company reorganized its operations into two entities, Hurtigruten Expeditions and Hurtigruten Norway, each with its own CEO. Asta Lassesen heads the eight-ship expeditions segment.

Seven-ship coastal operation

Starting in 2021, Hurtigruten Norway will number seven smaller ships.

Felin is scheduled to join in March from the position as head of the CEO's office and special advisor to the CEO of global energy giant Equinor, where she has spent 14 years.

She was appointed SVP for UK & Ireland Offshore in 2016, and sat in the international management team. Previously Felin led corporate social responsibility and was VP safety and sustainability for Equinor's global exploration activities.
