Explora Journeys appoints regional sales chief for Australia, New Zealand, APAC

Explora Journeys, the new upmarket cruise brand of MSC Cruises, appointed Nicole Costantin head of sales for Australia, New Zealand and APAC.

Costantin was VP sales Australia & New Zealand when Harry Sommer, now president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, opened Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' first office for the Pacific region in Sydney in 2015. 

Most recently she has been head of acquisition/sales at Travel Partners.

Six-ship fleet

Costantin joins Explora Journeys as it prepares for the launch of its first ship, the 922-passenger  Explora I, in May next year, marking MSC Cruises’ entry into the luxury market.

It will be joined by five sister ships, joining through 2028.

She has been the Australasia correspondent for Seatrade Cruise Review since 1997 and for Seatrade Insider (now Seatrade Cruise News) since its launch in 2000.
